It's 3:30AM and I am still up working on my paper. I am sleepy, yet wide awake. Nope, no coffee in my system or other known stimulants. My guess is that I am running on Holy Spirit power...woohoo! Praise the Lord for papers about Him!
All that is left to do is write up my works cited page, then I can crash till almost 8 before getting up for class. Why am I even typing this now? well, the computer times out and automatically logs a peson off unless there is activity at least every 4.5 minutes, so I am alphabetizing my list and typing to you at the same time! Multi-tasking is a wonderful gift from above.
Ok, enough randomness for now. You may want to pray for me. I have to turn this puppy in tomorrow and give an oral presentation of it...9am...then it's off to bed, hopefully.
I will write a celebratory post later on when I am more ...alert?

It's all done. It's 5:15AM. I can go tobed ;)
Laura, you accidentally published this post twice!
Duh… sorry for being so dense, but I didn't get it that when you showed up at the Equator with "a friend", that the other person was your mother! I remember shaking her hand and introducing myself, and she said her name was Debbie, but I didn't make the connexion.
It had been my idea, when I heard that you were coming, to just vacate our seats and join you, standing, at the back, maybe getting some coffee, etc., and enjoying the performance from there.
What actually happened was, my usual inertness took over. When you said you didn't want anything but water, that threw me, and instead of pursuing my idea further, and getting Brock, I just went back. My apologies. I am a nerd.
I wish you could've come earlier. A pianist of exceptional talent, Micah Geisel, played Beethoven and Liszt for about a half an hour. Then Andrew did his music, and you were there for at least part of that. He was being a goof that night, tho. Were you there when he did his spoofy Wagner aria as a soprano, with his friend Tyler holding up the libretto written on two small fragments of paper?
After Andrew's act, Brock and I went back to look for you, but you had left. The third performer was Jeff Hamilton, who played guitar and sang, very excellently I might add. I bought Jeff's album, Truth or Dare. When I listened to it, I was so impressed with the first song on it (which he didn't perform that night), that I put a link to it in the side panel of my blog. If you have a chance, please go to my blog and listen to it. It's called "Wake Up."
Anyway, this has nothing to do with your post, but I wanted to touch you, and apologise for my cadliness on Saturday. Poor return for your inviting us to your Christmas Concert, I'm afraid.
Forgive me, dear sister. I hope you did well on your paper. After you rest up, stay in touch.
Hehehe, you are right, but I have fixed the problem now. See, blogger was having technical difficulties last night, so I pushed the publish button twice, not realizing that it then published twice...silly me...I guess I was more tired than I realized.
As for the Equator, I am sorry that we had to leave, but I couldn't get you attention with out causing a distraction. Mom had been up since 2AM so she was exhausted and, afer spending some 12 in dress shoes on the risors, my feet were completely swollen in my shoes so that I couldn't stand anymore ;) we slipped out the front just after Andrew announced he had two more songs left. I didn't get to see any of his playing, but it sure sounded neat! Mom said that she's never seen someone pick a guitar like that! I appologise for not staying longer, but thank you for the invitation.
As a side note, I listen to the music on your blog all night last night while typing...thank you again
well, I am going to go take a nap for a bit. thank you for your message!
