I want to thank you again for your support of my recent trip to Poland. God is still blessing that effort and ministry. Bless you!
I am writing now because I have been given another opportunity to go and serve – this time in Alaska! God has opened the door for me to go direct a camp discipleship program called S.A.L.T (servant and leadership training) at Victory Ministries Bible camp. I am so excited about this because it gives me a chance to work with teenagers who want to be leaders in their church communities. Some time ago, my pastor asked me, “If money and time were not a problem, what would you do?” I answered him, “I would be discipling, counseling, and worshiping.” This camp position gives me the ability to do each of these! YAY!
I would greatly appreciate your prayerful support. I will be leaving Saturday, May 16th to drive up the Yukon Trail (what an adventure!) and will arrive at Victory (in Sutton, AK, 45 minutes outside Palmer, AK) on Wednesday, May 20th. My accommodations along the way will be… well… camping! So I could use your prayers for that as well.
I will be at camp for about 2 and a half months, returning by plane on August 2nd. While my living expenses during camp (lodging and food) will be covered by Victory Ministries, other expenses, my travel and food while traveling are not. I am asking if you, after prayer and consideration, would help me to raise $1,000. Thank you!
Lastly, while I am away, I would really be encouraged by notes and letters. Alaska is a beautiful state, but there is just something wonderful about hearing from the people you care about!
